Dubai’s aviation performance is closely linked to its tourism growth. The city recorded 19.59 million international overnight visitors in 2025, an increase of 5% compared to the previous year.

Global Rankings Confirm Dubai’s Position
Dubai maintained its number one ranking for international passenger traffic, ahead of major global hubs such as London Heathrow and Incheon International Airport. It also ranked second worldwide for total passenger traffic, just behind Atlanta.
Global passenger traffic reached 9.8 billion in 2025, growing by 3.6% annually. The top 10 airports accounted for 9% of total global traffic, placing Dubai at the centre of international connectivity.
