Trump Tower Dubai is an off-plan hotel and residential development on Sheikh Zayed Road, near the entrance to Downtown Dubai. DarGlobal currently lists an expected completion date of December 2031. For a buyer, that long lead time deserves as much attention as the name on the building.
The useful question is whether a particular apartment suits your budget, plans and tolerance for waiting. Start there, then look at the services and design.
What has changed since the launch?
DarGlobal and The Trump Organization launched the project on 30 April 2025. The announcement described an 80-floor tower combining a hotel, homes and a private club.
On 6 August 2026, DarGlobal announced a podium construction contract with Gulf Asia Contracting. This is a specific construction milestone. It does not mean the building is complete or that the expected handover date is guaranteed.
Which homes and facilities are planned?
The developer’s current project page lists one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and four-bedroom duplex penthouses. Planned resident facilities include a pool, gym, owners’ lounge and children’s play area.
The private club is a separate consideration. DarGlobal states that membership carries an annual fee, with priority access for residents. Owning an apartment should not be read as including free club membership. Ask for the current membership terms and a clear explanation of which facilities come with the home.
How should you assess the location?
The Sheikh Zayed Road address puts the project close to Downtown, but a district name cannot tell you how a particular home will feel. Check the tower’s access points, the apartment’s orientation, surrounding buildings and your likely daily journey. A high-floor rendering is not enough to establish the view from the unit you are considering.
Our Downtown Dubai guide gives you a starting point for comparing the area with your wider shortlist.
Before comparing prices, compare the full commitment
A launch headline is not a current quotation. Request a dated offer for a specific unit, then work through these points:
- The apartment: layout, usable space, floor, orientation, parking and what the finish specification includes.
- The payments: the instalment dates, the amount due at handover and all stated purchase charges.
- The ongoing costs: any available service-charge estimate, optional paid services and club membership. Treat estimates as estimates.
- The timing: whether the expected December 2031 completion fits your plans, and what the sale agreement says about delivery.
If you need a home or rental income sooner, include completed properties in the comparison. If branded services are central to your decision, establish exactly what is included and what costs extra. The brand alone cannot answer either question.
