Life in Al Wasl
A neighbourhood beyond your front door.
City Walk puts apartments alongside outdoor shopping streets, restaurants and entertainment in Al Wasl. Its appeal is the choice of things to do close to home: a meal out, a visit to The Green Planet or an evening at Coca-Cola Arena.
The district has developed in phases. Architect Benoy records the opening of its two-phase retail and leisure project in 2016. Residential development has continued since then: Meraas launched City Walk Crestlane in February 2025, with water features and landscaped spaces shaping the new neighbourhood.
There are distinct choices within the address. Compare Northline’s low-rise buildings, Verve’s taller architecture and Crestlane’s planned waterside setting. The existing retail streets and attractions are separate from the facilities promised within each residential project.

An urban home
Choose the building as carefully as the address.
City Walk combines homes with shops, restaurants and leisure destinations. That makes the route from your building to the places you use worth checking in person. Look at crossings, shade and the walk back from parking, as well as the distance on a map.
Low-rise or a higher floor?
Northline’s low-rise design offers a different setting from Verve’s taller buildings. Compare the specific floor, balcony and surrounding construction. A skyline image does not establish the view from every apartment.
Which part of City Walk?
Crestlane, Verve and Northline have their own buildings and facilities. Confirm the full project and building name before comparing prices, floor plans or expected handover dates. Do not assume an amenity in one development is available to all City Walk residents.
Ready home or a future move?
For a completed property, inspect the apartment and ask about occupancy, service charges and the building’s condition. For an off-plan home, check the latest construction update and contractual handover terms. Match the purchase to when you actually need the keys.
Compare other central or apartment-led settings at Downtown Dubai, Dubai Creek Harbour and Emaar Beachfront.
Around the neighbourhood
Make more of an ordinary week.
Restaurants, shops and an evening out.
City Walk’s mix of cafés, restaurants and shops makes it possible to combine errands with time outside. Coca-Cola Arena brings concerts, sport and family events to the district. If you are considering a nearby apartment, visit on an event evening as well as a quiet weekday to understand the change in activity.
Places to learn and explore.
The Green Planet’s indoor tropical biodome offers a different kind of family outing. Canadian University Dubai is also within City Walk. For a household using either regularly, compare the route from the actual building, including crossings, shade and parking.
New homes within an established destination.
On 10 August 2026, Meraas announced a groundworks contract for two residential buildings in Crestlane Phase 3. Site preparation is a construction milestone; it does not mean those homes or their planned pools, clubhouse and outdoor cinema are ready to use. Ask for the update and handover terms for the building on your shortlist.
Before you choose.
How should I compare City Walk projects?
Start with the exact building and apartment. Compare floor plans, orientation, parking, service charges and access to the facilities you expect to use. Each development has its own specification and delivery schedule.
Is the advertised launch price still available?
Availability and purchase terms need a current unit-specific offer. Ask for the asking price, any remaining developer payments and the costs due at transfer. Our buying-cost guide helps you organise the full budget.
Are the amenities already open?
City Walk already has shops, restaurants and destinations such as The Green Planet and Coca-Cola Arena. Residential facilities vary by building and phase. Confirm whether your chosen development’s pool, gym and other amenities are operating and included in your access.
What should I check before reserving?
Match the home and specification to the contract. Review the payment schedule, completion terms and escrow details. Seven Stones can help you compare the documents for the homes on your shortlist.
